1. Overview

The Interactive Risk Heatmap component is a feature in Camms.Engage Dashboard that allows users to view and analyze risks associated with a specific node. It presents the risks on a heatmap, providing a visual representation of their severity and movement over time.

Users would be able to view the latest Risk movement of any Risk by simply clicking on a Risk within the Interactive Risk Heatmap component.

Note: The Risk movement would start from Initial Risk Rating, to Residual Risk Rating, to Future Risk Rating, based on the assessments available.

Users would be able to filter the Heatmap Risks based on the Types of Risk Assessments.

Note: If Initial, Residual, and Future assessments are available, the user would be able to filter the Risks by Initial and Residual, Initial, Residual and Future.

Apart from the above-mentioned Risk movement, clicking on a Risk will activate the tick box field 'Show Timeline Trend' which would enable the entire Risk movement throughout the timeline.

The detailed view of a selected Risk would be visible to the user by clicking on the “View Risk Details” button which will be enabled upon clicking on a Risk.

The Risk Detailed component of the selected Risk would be shown below the Risk Heatmap component.

3. Configuration Related to Child Components of the Interactive Risk Heatmap.

When it comes to configuring the Interactive Risk Heatmap component, there's an additional aspect to consider: the child components. These child components are designed to enhance the functionality of the Interactive Risk Heatmap and provide more detailed information about specific risks.

Tip

Tip: One important child component is the Risk Detail component. This component plays a vital role in presenting a comprehensive view of a selected risk. When you click on a risk within the Interactive Risk Heatmap, the Risk Detail component comes into play, revealing all the relevant details associated with that particular risk.

To make the most of this feature, it's crucial to configure the Risk Detail component according to your preferences. By doing so, you can determine what information should be displayed when a risk is selected. This level of customization ensures that you have full control over the data presented and can tailor it to meet your specific needs.

4. X and Y Axes Configuration of the Interactive Risk Heatmap

To personalize the axes label names on the Interactive Risk Heatmap, follow these simple steps via the Engage Configuration Details page in Camms.Engage:

Step 1: Log in to Camms.Engage as an Administrator and Locate the configuration settings for the Interactive Risk Heatmap component on the Engage Configuration Details page.

Step 2: Look for the Axes label names section, as shown in Figure 4.1.

Step 3: Identify the relevant axis codes used in Camms.Risk for the X and Y axes in the Risk Rating calculations.

Tip

Tip: For example, if the X axis is associated with the "Consequence" axis in Camms.Risk and its code is 'C', enter 'C' in the "Enter Code to set the X Axis of the Interactive Risk Heatmap" field.
Similarly, if the Y axis corresponds to the "Likelihood" axis in Camms.Risk and its code is 'L', enter 'L' in the "Enter Code to set the Y Axis of the Interactive Risk Heatmap" field.

Note: By default, the X and Y axes are set to 'C' and 'L' respectively, but you have the flexibility to modify these codes according to your preferences.

Customizing the axis label names allows you to align the Interactive Risk Heatmap with your organization's risk management terminology and conventions. This configuration empowers you to interpret and analyze risks within the Heatmap more effectively.
