This offline report generator functionality will enable generator functionality enables you to generate Strategy reports in the background of the application, eliminating the need for you to stay on the report page until the report is fully retrieved. 

In an instance instances where the report takes a considerable amount of time to generate, this feature comes in handy is helpful as it lets allows you to engage in other tasks while the report is being generated in the background. However, if a timeout occurs while during the report is being generatedgeneration, the report generation process will be failed fail in the same way it does at manner as it would during a timeout in the usual report generation method.

How do you configure this?

• This will feature can be enabled by the Camms Support team through an internal setting by Camms Support team , upon request. 

• By default, this it is disabled.

How does this work?

• The "'Export Offline" ' button will appear at the bottom of the report parameter page.

• After clicking the "'Export Offline" ' button, a pop-up will appear, stating indicating that the report can be accessed via a through the report download page.

• To monitor the progress or the status (Pending, Completed Or , or Failed) of the a report being generated by the system, you can navigate to the "'My Downloads" ' menu. : Mega Menu > Workspace > My Downloads Downloads.

  • After Once the generated report has been downloaded report is generated, and the notification email has been sent to the user, the status will be shown as update to 'Completed'. During the time it takes for the email to be sent, the status will be remain 'Pending'. If there are timeout errors or access permission failures occur during the report generation, the status will be shown displayed as 'Failed'.

  • The 'Download' button will only be visible to the user only when the report status is in 'Completed' status. When it's in '. If the status is 'Pending' or 'Failed' status, the download button will not be visibleappear.

  • Upon clicking Clicking the 'Delete' button , will remove the report will be deleted from the interface. (The delete button will This action only remove removes the record from the interface . It would not make any changes to without affecting the physical file or the database table.)

  • Reports are sorted by date, with the most recent date and time appearing on at the top. Each page will consist of display a maximum of 10 records.

• You can download the generated report by either clicking on the download link in the email or navigating to the "'My Downloads" ' page. 

  • If you have are logged in using with the same browser and is authenticated, clicking the link will direct the user you to the page below, where they you can download the report by clicking the 'Download' button. "

• If you have logged out of the application or opened it in another a different browser, you will be redirected to the login page to enter login your credentials.

• If you're using the SSO (Single-Sign-On) feature, the SSO page will be presented to you where you could enter the relevant data and sign in to the application.

• After authenticatingauthentication, you will be redirected to the same page where you can download the report.

• Unauthorized users will not be unable able to download the generated reports, even with if they have access to the email link.
