Release Note - May 2023
Camms is pleased to announce the May 2023 Release for the Camms.College Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
This release includes a number of features and enhancements to improve your user experience within the system. They will be available to all users on 13th May 2023.
Improvements
Introducing Course Versioning
The Course Versioning feature allows learners, both current and future, enrolled in a course (xAPI-based Learning Activity), to access the latest and most updated learning content. Platform administrators can now effortlessly upload newer versions, ensuring seamless distribution among enrolled Learners.
This improvement preserves progress data from previous versions, visible on the My Certificate page, Learner History report, and Learning Progress Details report. Furthermore, learners will receive timely dashboard notifications regarding expiring versions and the availability of new ones.

Learner experience during the course progress saving process has been made. Learners will now experience a smoother and more seamless transition as their progress is saved.

The webinar video player has been enhanced to deliver an immersive and interactive viewing experience for learners. With the latest improvements, leaners can seamlessly navigate through multiple chapters within a video, search within captions for specific content, and effortlessly control the player using convenient keyboard shortcuts.

The Learning Activity Details page has been updated for all learning activities. As a result, all users are now able to view the name of the course instructor or webinar speaker. This enhancement provides users with valuable information about the individuals leading the learning experience.

Significant improvements have been implemented on the default error page to address situations where users come across broken or unavailable pages. These enhancements ensure a more user-friendly experience by providing clear and concise information when encountering such issues.

The instructor/speaker’s name on the My Learning Directory page has been replaced with the name of the product, improving the learner experience for content discovery.
