Reports – Progress Reporting

1. Action and Task Progress Report

This Report shows all Actions in the system for the selected reporting period. It groups the Actions by the selected hierarchy and then sorts the actions in ascending order of the action number. Tasks are displayed in ascending order of task start date.

  • STEP 1: To access this report, go to Reports > Corporate Business Planning > Progress Reporting and select the 'Action and Task Progress Report'.

  • STEP 2: Select the relevant criteria and click the Preview button.

The filters available to sort the details are:

Date Select

Select the date range in 'From' and 'To' field.

If an action/task has a revised date it will be filtered by that instead of the original date.

Select the name of the hierarchy from the drop-down menu.

Select the hierarchy level from the drop-down menu.

Select the Business Unit from the drop-down list.

Action Responsible Officer

Select the responsible officer for the action from the drop-down menu.

Select the agency from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions linked to Agencies.

Select the Action Related Plan from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions linked to Related Plans.

Budget Type

Select the Budget Type from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions by budget type.

Action Grouping Level

Select the Action Grouping level from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions linked to Action groups, identified within the Framework>Action Grouping section.

Select the action status from the drop-down menu to filter by action status.

Select the action filter from the drop-down menu. This will filter the actions by action tick box filters, which are tick boxes located at the action details screen.

Select the responsible officer for the task from the drop-down menu.

Select the Task Related Plan from the drop-down menu.

Show Filter Page

Select to include the filter page in first page of the report.

Select to add the overview page in the report. This is the Action Overview which details the Action status graph and Action progress gauge.

Select to include additional information of the action. This includes the 'Target' and 'On Target' columns for action performance.

2. Action Progress by Business Unit and Responsible Officer

For a selected Financial Year, Business Unit and Responsible Officer, this report shows all the Actions for that staff member including status, percentage complete, and any comments on progress and completion date.

  • STEP 1: To access this report, go to Reports > Corporate Business Planning > Progress Reporting and select the 'Action Progress by BU and Responsible Officer'.

  • STEP 2: Select the relevant criteria and click the Preview button.

Reporting Year

Select the reporting year which will determine what actions to be pulled across.

Note: Only the actions that are within the reporting year (has a start and/or end date within the reporting year) will be displayed.

Staff

Select the responsible officer for the action from the drop-down menu. There is no ‘Show all’ option, you must select a responsible person.

First staff member on the list

Department

Select the Department from the drop-down menu. There is no ‘Show all’ option, you must select a department from the list.
