Reports – Progress Reporting

1. Action and Task Progress Report |
This Report shows all Actions in the system for the selected reporting period. It groups the Actions by the selected hierarchy and then sorts the actions in ascending order of the action number. Tasks are displayed in ascending order of task start date.
STEP 1: To access this report, go to Reports > Corporate Business Planning > Progress Reporting and select the 'Action and Task Progress Report'.
STEP 2: Select the relevant criteria and click the Preview button.
The filters available to sort the details are:
Filters | Description | Default Selection |

Date Select | Select the date range in 'From' and 'To' field. If an action/task has a revised date it will be filtered by that instead of the original date. | Current financial year |
Hierarchy | Select the name of the hierarchy from the drop-down menu. | Organisational Hierarchy |
Hierarchy Level | Select the hierarchy level from the drop-down menu. | NULL Generates for the root hierarchy |
Hierarchy Node | Select the Business Unit from the drop-down list. | NULL Generates for the root hierarchy |
Action Responsible Officer | Select the responsible officer for the action from the drop-down menu. | Show All |
Agency | Select the agency from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions linked to Agencies. | Show All |
Action Related Plan | Select the Action Related Plan from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions linked to Related Plans. | Show All |
Budget Type | Select the Budget Type from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions by budget type. | Show All |
Action Grouping Level | Select the Action Grouping level from the drop-down menu. This will filter actions linked to Action groups, identified within the Framework>Action Grouping section. | Blank |
Action Status | Select the action status from the drop-down menu to filter by action status. | Show All |
Action Filter | Select the action filter from the drop-down menu. This will filter the actions by action tick box filters, which are tick boxes located at the action details screen. | Show All |
Task Responsible officer | Select the responsible officer for the task from the drop-down menu. | Show All |
Task Related Plans | Select the Task Related Plan from the drop-down menu. | Show All |
Show Filter Page | Select to include the filter page in first page of the report. | Ticked OFF |
Show Overview | Select to add the overview page in the report. This is the Action Overview which details the Action status graph and Action progress gauge. | Ticked OFF |
Show Additional Information | Select to include additional information of the action. This includes the 'Target' and 'On Target' columns for action performance. | Ticked OFF |
Show Financials | Select to include financial data throughout the report. | Ticked OFF |
Show Linkages | Select to include details on action linkages. This includes Linked Agencies, Related Plans and Action Grouping Links. | Ticked OFF |
Show Tasks | Select to include tasks underneath their specific actions. | Ticked OFF |
Show Progress Comments | Select to include the action and task progress comments. | Ticked OFF |
Show Milestone Comments | Select to include Task Milestone comments to the report. | Ticked OFF |
Show Confidential Actions | Select to show Confidential actions (Actions linked to the Confidential tick box). Note: if you don't have confidential security access, this tick box will be invisible. | Ticked OFF |
Note: This report is generated in landscape layout as it provides a full view of the contents included in each row.

2. Action Progress by Business Unit and Responsible Officer |
For a selected Financial Year, Business Unit and Responsible Officer, this report shows all the Actions for that staff member including status, percentage complete, and any comments on progress and completion date.
STEP 1: To access this report, go to Reports > Corporate Business Planning > Progress Reporting and select the 'Action Progress by BU and Responsible Officer'.
STEP 2: Select the relevant criteria and click the Preview button.
The filters available to sort the details are:

Reporting Year | Select the reporting year which will determine what actions to be pulled across. Note: Only the actions that are within the reporting year (has a start and/or end date within the reporting year) will be displayed. | Current financial year |
Staff | Select the responsible officer for the action from the drop-down menu. There is no ‘Show all’ option, you must select a responsible person. | First staff member on the list |
Department | Select the Department from the drop-down menu. There is no ‘Show all’ option, you must select a department from the list. | First Department on the list |
