Note: These are some known limitations in SSRS and depending on the complexity of the report there could be more.
Export outputs of the PDF and Word templates would not be identical as Word format has more limitations.
Cannot use conditional based page numbers in the report footer at the time of rendering the report into Word template. It supports only for PDF template.
Cannot repeat the table headers when moving to a new page in the Word templates.
Cannot repeat the grouping headings when moving to a new page in the Word templates.
Limitations in rendering the reports into Excel format such as handling multiple sheets and merged cell issues.
Unable to have Table of Contents with dynamic page numbering.
When showing data available in rich text boxes in SSRS reports there are few limitations as not all html mark-up tags are supported in SSRS.
