I have enabled the map field in components, why aren’t the locations shown on the map?

  • First, please ensure that you have added locations in Strategy/PPM for the particular object(action/project) you are referring to. 

Configuration related for Projects:

  • In PPM, go to the particular project and select 'Location'.

  • Then make sure to select the region (hierarchy node), which the project is linked to.

Configuration related for Actions:

  • Similarly, log into Strategy, go to the particular action and select the 'Location' tab.

  • Add the location coordinates and select the hierarchy node which the action is linked to.

  • Subsequently, once you make the map component enabled for the hierarchy controller you will be able to see the locations of actions and projects against the hierarchy nodes accordingly.
