Can we create a custom field on audit findings ? Anything else we should be aware of when making configurations in relation to reporting within insights?
Yes you can create any custom field available on the field configuration screen. Example, a 'tick/check box' field within the audit, finding or action fields. This will just be a manual "check box" field that the user can tick for your specific purposes.
You can configure this from the Audit Settings > Field Configuration section

Using a custom field i.e "Check Box1" and then labelling it, re-arranging sequence on the page, etc.
In relation to Insights Reports, all insights reports that have these datasets setup, they will recieve an error like this “There is an error when querying data”.
This is accurate - with ANY changes you make in the application, you need to update the data set within insights. This is so that the change you make within the application is brought across into the dataset (i.e adding this field into the dataset so you can report on it). If you don't do this you get this error.
The Steps include:
Navigate to Settings > Data Setup > Stored Procedures
Find the dataset (which is the object that you have changed)
Click on 'Execute' - you will see the change apply itself in the column view.
Click 'Save'
Go and re-check the dataset and confirm that the change is there in the columns.
Try running the reports again
