Confirm what the 'Frequency' field is used for in the Audit Notifications? Used in the Recommendation due for completion email.
The 'Frequency' field can be used to send emails repeatedly after a specific time period (number of days). When it is set to a numeric value for frequency in the Audit Email notification configuration, it will continue to generate notifications after each frequency period. It is outlined in the below diagram.
It considers the 1st Agreed Implementation Date or 2nd Agreed Implementation date or 3rd Agreed implementation Date for this email rule.
The email rule 'Recommendation (Action) Due for Completion' checks if the Recommendation (Action) Completion Date has been entered, and the Recommendation (Action) has not yet been signed off and is assigned to a user.
Once it satisfies those initial conditions, it will follow the below logic:
"Third Agreed implementation date" is entered and condition is matched
If "Third Agreed implementation date" is blank, then check whether "Second Agreed implementation date" is entered and condition is matched
If "Second Agreed implementation date" is blank, then check "First Agreed implementation date" is entered and condition is matched.
So in response to your question, It reads to me as though I should put a 1 in the frequency so the system will check each day for any records which match the email rule conditions, I agree that a Frequency of 1 would meet your desired outcome.
