1. Overview

In cammsengage there are several ways of refreshing the dashboard. Described below are the available options of refreshing.

Note: The refresh option is not applicable to the node names of the first level of your hierarchy.

Option 1: Full Dashboard Manual Refresh

  • If you want to update all the data on the dashboard (including the title and description) manually, navigate to the dashboard tab in the admin section of cammsengage where you will be able to see all your available dashboards.

  • Click on the update icon against the dashboard which you intend on refreshing as depicted below.

  • Once clicked a Refreshing Dashboard' popup will appear

  • Tick on the check on the "Refresh All Data" box and click on start. This will refresh your dashboard against the current progress date of individual items.

  • If the date range for the dashboard is updated through the edit panel, you can tick on the ‘Update the Progress date for all the items’ check box and click on Start, to update the progress date of all the individual items which are already made visible on the dashboard.

  • By then, the data will be fetched and updated accordingly, to the new progress date.

2. Update Data for Individual Items

This option can be utilized in a scenario where you wish to refresh the data for only a specific set of items without refreshing the complete dashboard.

  •  You should first navigate to the related component (i.e. KPIs/ Actions/ Projects/ Risks) through the admin panel of camms.Engage. Click on the edit icon of the component which you wish to edit.

  • In here click on the edit icon and update the ‘progress date’ of each item. This will ensure that the data related to the new progress date will be fetched and displayed.

Note: If you have chosen the ‘real-time’ as your dashboard refresh option as depicted in the below image, you do not need to manually refresh at all.
