This update is applicable for clients who use forms authentication.
Note: Camms. Talent doesn’t support this feature yet; it will be integrated to Common Login in Q4 release.
How does it work?
Users will be redirected to common login page when the user enters a URL of a product; upon successful authentication the user will be redirected to the relevant product.

2. Improving the strength of the password policy |

This enhancement improves the strength of the password policy on forms authentication. The password must consist of a minimum of 8 characters and include at least an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number, and a symbol.
How does it work?
When the password is changed/reset, the password must meet the criteria below. This is applicable to Manage user area, Change password within my settings across products.
Must consist of minimum of 8 characters
Must include at least an upper-case letter
Must include at least one lower case letter
Must include at least one number
Must include at least one symbol.
As the user types the password, the conditions that are fulfilled will be highlighted in green.

3. Ability to configure the account lockout policy |

This modification allows the configuration of the account lockout policy. The account will be locked for a specified period after a certain number of failed attempts. Once the account is locked, the user will not be able to log in to the product. The user will be able to log in again after the configured lockout period is over.
How does it work?
The account will be locked out for the configured time after the configured number of failed attempts. Upon each failed attempt it will indicate the number of attempts left.

How to configure?
Please contact Camms support to enable this feature.
To enable this feature, please provide the following three values to the Camms support team:
Account lockout threshold – Number of allowed failed attempts (Recommended threshold is 3 failed attempts)
Account lockout duration - The account lockout duration in minutes (Recommended duration is 5 minutes)
Reset account lockout counter – The duration (in minutes) to reset the lockout counter” (Recommended duration is 1 minute)
4. Ability to configure the password expiry period |

This modification allows the configuration of the password expiry period. Once the password expires, it must be reset by the user.
How does it work?
Users will have to change the password after the configured period of time.
When the valid number of days for the password is expired, upon successful authentication, the user will be prompted with a message "Your password has expired and must be changed."
