Camms.Engage Solution | October 2023
Camms is pleased to bring you the Quarterly Product Release Note for the Camms.Engage Solution.
This quarter we've got exciting enhancements to improve your user experience within the system, which will be available in your Test environment on 08th October 2023 and will be available in your Live environment on 29th October 2023.
1. Introducing the Template Functionality for KPIs, Actions, Scorecards and Controls |
---|
This modification will enable administrators to set up a template for KPIs, Actions, Scorecards and Controls. Through one particular record, administrators can apply the detail-level configurations and settings to all over visible records. This feature ensures consistency and saves time by eliminating the need to manually configure each record.
How does this work?
First, you need to go to the Dashboard Edit section and enable the templates for that specific Dashboard.
Once you have enabled the Templates, you can set up templates from the “Edit” section of the relevant components of KPIs, Actions, Scorecards and Controls.
For instance, if you have enabled the KPI Templates through the Dashboard Edit section, you will be able to select any of the KPIs that contain detail-level configurations, as a template and apply it to all the other visible KPIs, by simply clicking on the “Edit” button and enabling “Template KPI” radio button of the relevant KPI.
With this feature you will not need to configure the detail-level components and settings for each KPI individually, instead, you can can set up a single KPI with all the required configurations and apply it to all visible KPIs.
Note:
By default, The enable Templates toggle button for PKIs, Actions, Scorecard and Controls will be disabled in the Dashboard edit section.
2. Introducing the 'Add' Icon to the Left-Hand Navigation Menu |
---|
This modification will introduce a new icon to the admin's left-hand navigation menu, allowing you to Add New Dashboards, Pages, Custom Traffic Lights or Dashboard Roles within the Camms.Engage application.
How does this work?
You can see four options once you click the 'Add New' button.
Dashboard – You can click on the Dashboard option to create a new Dashboard. Upon clicking you can see the "Create Dashboard" popup, where you can enter the necessary details and click "Save" to create a new Dashboard.
Page – After selecting the "Page" option, you'll see a list of published Dashboards. Choose a specific Dashboard by clicking on its name, and you'll be redirected to the configuration section of that Dashboard. A "Create Page" popup will appear from there, allowing you to create a new page within the selected Dashboard.
Dashboard Role – If you want to create a Dashboard Role, you can click on the 'Dashboard Roles' option from the list, and then you will be redirected to the 'Add New Dashboard Role' popup where you can create a new Dashboard role within the application.
Custom Traffic Light –Upon clicking the Custom Traffic Lights dropdown, you will see the Milestones Type option. You can create a new Milestone Type, which you could use in the Portfolio Milestones Component.
Note:
The Dashboard displayed within the expanded list in the "Page" option will be filtered based on the logged-in user's View and Edit permissions.
3. Introducing 'Last Refresh Date' in the Dashboard Refresh Option |
---|
This enhancement will allow you to see the Last Refreshed Date of a Particular Dashboard so that you will be able to easily identify when the data on the Dashboard was last refreshed.
How does this work?
Once you click on the 'Update' button of a particular Dashboard, you will be able to see a popup box that includes the Last Refresh Date at the top.
