How do I remove a dataset I no longer need?

Question: I've found that when I rename an object in cammsproject or cammsincident and perform a dataset update, the system pulls through the new dataset under its new name.

However this doesn't let me remove or delete the old one so I have a few that are sitting there which I don't really need. Is there some way of getting rid of these?

Answer: If you need old/unused datasets removed so they do not show up in your Administration > Data Model > Stored Procedures area, please log a service request on the CAMMS Support Portal.

As a workaround you can

Option 1: Create a separate dataset folder called "Unused" or similar and move your datasets into that folder.

Option 2: Simply hide datasources from particular user roles by unticking it from the Roles page as shown below. This will prevent users with that role from seeing this datasource when attempting to create reports. However, keep in mind that any reports created using this dataset will also be hidden from the respective users.
