Power BI Incident Installation
STEP 1: Go to Microsoft AppSource using the below link:
https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/
Search using the keyword [Camms.Incident] in the Microsoft AppSource search bar, which will result in the Camms.Incident Dashboard.
STEP2: Click on the Get it now button.
STEP 3: Add the email that is associated with your Power BI account and click on the Sign In button to sign into Microsoft AppSource.
STEP 4: Fill in your basic information in the required fields and select the checkbox at the bottom. If you have filled in all the required fields marked with a red asterisk mark and ticked the checkbox, the Continue button will be enabled and let you move forward.
STEP 5: You will now be navigated to your Power BI Portal. Click on the Install button to install the Camms.Risk Incident Management Dashboard to your Organisation’s Power BI Service.
STEP 6: If an update is available to the Power BI Desktop app or the Camms Power BI App, this additional popup will display to update your software. Select the suitable option as below, and click Install.
Update the workspace and the app – Select this option to update both the published online Workspaces and Camms Power BI App.
Update only workspace content without updating the app – Select this option to update only the published online Workspace content.
Install another copy of the app into a new workspace – Select this option to install a different copy of the Camms Power BI App into a new online Workspace.
STEP 7: Once the installation is completed, click on the Go to app button in the popup, or click on the new link created in your Power BI Dashboard under the 'Apps' tab.
STEP 8: Once clicked on the installed Camms Power BI App link, a dashboard with sample data will be displayed. You will require to then connect the dashboard with your organization's data. To do so, click on the link at the top Connect your data.
STEP 9: Once clicked on the Connect your data link at the top of the page, a popup window will open to fill in the following details and click 'Next':
Camms-Token: Add the non-expiring Camms Power BI token provided to you by our Integration Team.
Azure-Subscription-key: Add your Azure subscription key details.
Host: Select between Demo or Live depending on where your Camms database is hosted.
STEP 10: Once your credentials are validated, select the 'authentication method' (anonymous or basic [for basic enter your username and password]), 'privacy level', and click Sign in and continue to proceed.
Once connected successfully, your organization's information will be populated in the Camms Power BI App dashboard.
