Camms is pleased to bring you the Product Update Notification for Camms.Risk.

In this mini release we've got some great enhancements to improve your user experience within the system, which will be available in your Live environment on Thursday, 20th June 2024.

1. View all linked to my risks permission within controls to consider the risk Secondary Responsible Officer

1. View all linked to my risks permission within controls to consider the risk Secondary Responsible Officer

You now have the ability to grant the secondary risk responsible officer(s) as an additional permission to ‘View all linked to my risks’ permission option within the Control Permission Tree.

How do you configure this?

  • There will be a newly added setting available in the Administration > Configurations > IRM Settings to allow you to configure whether you want to consider the SRO or not when granting the “View all linked to my risks” permission.

How does this work?

  • Previously, when a user was granted the "view all linked to my risks" permission for their register permissions for controls, all risk controls linked to the risks for which they are the Risk Owner (RO) was visible from their control register, dashboard etc.

  • In addition to the previous behavior, enabling the newly added IRM setting will extend this feature to Secondary Risk Owners (SROs) as well. From now on, turning on this setting will allow SROs with the "view all linked to my risks" permission to view all the controls linked to the risks for which they are the secondary responsible officer, from their control register, dashboard etc.

2. Hide Completed Actions as Default in My Quick Update  (My Risk Actions)

2. Hide Completed Actions as Default in My Quick Update  (My Risk Actions)

As an Action Owner, this modification will tick the ‘Hide Completed’ checkbox by default in the My Risk Actions bubble. Thereby, ensuring that only incomplete risk actions are shown by default in the My Quick Update > My Risk Actions bubble.

How do you configure this?

  • The “Hide Completed” option will be available in My Quick Update > Risk Actions > Filter.

  • Once you tick the checkbox and click on the “Filter” button, only the incomplete actions will be listed in the My Risk Actions tab.

 How does this work?

  • All completed actions will be hidden by default where the ‘Hide Completed’ option will be ticked by default. As a result, only actions due for completion will be shown within the ‘My Risk Actions’ bubble for the action owner to make any updates.

  • If an Action Owner requires completed actions to be shown by default in their ‘My Risk Actions’ bubble, they can simply uncheck the ‘Hide Completed’ option and tick ‘Save As Default’ option to save for all completed actions also to be shown in the bubble.
