Incident Permissions and Staff Management

Note: The Risk Security matrix does not cover the Incident system. Therefore, a user role must be allocated to each staff member who need to access Camms.Risk Incident.
Camms.Risk permissions has the following formats:
Static permission structure – designated roles entailing a standard set of capabilities around the system, setup as User Roles via the Incident Framework. Please refer the Incident Settings – User Roles Settings article on how to set this up.
Flexible permission structure – dynamic roles with the ability to define the capabilities for the roles are.

1.1 Incident – Static Permissions
Permission | Description |

Standard Incident Add Permission | Select this permission to add/edit and save items in an Incident Object. |
Standard Investigator Permission | Select this permission to for users assigned as Primary Investigator and Secondary Investigator for an incident, to access and manage investigations responsible for. |
Standard Action Responsible Officer Permission | Select this permission to set the user with rights to action as a responsible officer, to access and manage Incidents they are responsible for. Note: It is recommended to tick this for all user roles created. |
Unlock all objects for editing (override "Disable all objects when Incident is closed" Setting) | Select this permission to edit all objects available in the incident workflow even after an incident record is closed. |
Enable Investigation Due Date (Override "Disable Investigation Due Date" Setting) | Select this permission to enter a due date for an investigation object. |
User Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > User settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
User Roles Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > User Roles settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Standard Role Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Standard Roles settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Location Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Location settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Priority Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Priority settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Severity Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Severity settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |

Standard Unlock All Objects In Incident Drafts For Editing Permission | Select this permission to edit all objects available in the incident workflow when an incident record is in a draft state. |
Risk Rating Type Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Risk Rating settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Risk Rating Calculation Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Risk Rating Calculation settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Object Section Configuration Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Object Section Configuration settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Portal Configuration Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Portal Configuration settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Display all records in registers | Select this permission to view all incident records in registers. |
Type Group Configuration Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Type Group Configuration settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Display confidential records in registers | Select this permission to view all incident records marked as confidential in the registers. Confidential records will not be read-only and you will not have the permission to view the objects of the confidential record if you do not have permission to view the confidential record in the Register. |
Edit Close Object Regardless Of Incident Completion | Select this permission to edit the close object in the incident workflow, regardless of it being completed. |
Register Grouping Configuration | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Register Grouping Configuration settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Standard Incident Draft Submission Permission | Select this permission to create and submit an incident record as a draft. |
Standard Incident Approver Permission | Select this permission for the user to create an Incident and submit for approval. This user role should be tied in with an appropriate user role providing 'add' permission for the action object. |
Standard Incident Signoff Delegated Approver Permission | Select this permission to allow the user to approve, reject, and reverse signoffs on behalf of another user. The permission should be tied to a user role that has the necessary signoff authority. |
Standard Incident Action Draft Submission Permission | Select this permission to create and submit an Incident Action record as a draft. |
Standard Incident Action Approver Permission | Provides permission for the user to approve an incident action created and submitted for approval. |
Review Frequency Settings | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Review Frequency settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
View Draft Incidents | Select this permission to view all draft Incident records in the registers. This does not consider hierarchies and nodes of users. This permission is suitable to be given to admin users who requires to see all draft Incident records in the application. |
Dashboard Configuration Settings | Select this permission to configure settings in the incident dashboard. |
Show records only in linked node to the node's responsible officer | Select this permission to view incident records that are only related to the same organisation node in the hierarchy, for the node's responsible officer. |
Show records in linked and underlying nodes to the node's responsible officer | Select this permission to view incident records that are only related to the same organisation node and its underlying nodes in the hierarchy, for the node's responsible officer. |
Show draft records only in the linked node to the node's responsible officer | Select this permission to enable users to view draft incident records that are linked to the responsible officer of the relevant hierarchy node. |
Show draft records in linked and underlying nodes to the node's responsible officer | Select this permission to enable users to view draft incident records linked to the responsible officer of a hierarchy node and its underlying nodes. |
Standard Incident Sign Off Permission | Select this permission to sign off an incident record in the incident workflow. |
Task Configuration | Provides permissions to the Incident Settings > Task Configuration settings page. Recommended only for administrators. |
Getting Started Page Configuration | Select this permission to configure the Getting Started page for the Incident product. |
1.2 Incident – Flex Permissions
Under Role Management (accessed via Camms.Risk Menu > Administration > Role Management > Add new/Edit. select the 'INCIDENT' option, within the 'Product' dropdown.

Incident > Register | View All | Select this permission to view all Incidents regardless of its hierarchy or created user in the Incident Register. |
| View All Not Linked to Hierarchy | Select this permission to view Incident that are not linked to a hierarchy, in the Incident Register. |
| View Node Only | Select this permission to view Incidents that are only related to a node in the hierarchy, in the Incident Register. |
| View Node With Children | Select this permission to view Incidents that are under a node, along with its children, in the Incident Register. |
| View All Created | Select this permission to view Incidents only if you (logged in user) created it, in the Incident Register. |
| View All RO | Select this permission to view Incidents only if you (the logged in user) are the Responsible Officer, in the Incident Register. |

Incident > Show Hierarchies in Links Tab | <Hierarchy name> | Select this permission(s) to show the listed hierarchy(ies) created for your organisation, to be displayed in the Links tab. |

2. Staff Management |
Staff is managed in two sections:
Staff Record: Administration > Staff.
User Login: Administration > Manage Users.
