Project Workflows – Configuring Preliminary Budget
The Preliminary Budget Object consists of four tabs:
Preliminary Budget
Ongoing Expenses
Source of Funds
Outputs
This object and its tabs can be renamed.
None of the tabs can be switched off. Hence, they are mandatory.
Can be added multiple times within one workflow.
This is an independent and incremental object. Hence, the changes made to one instance will be reflected in all subsequent instances. However, they will not reflect in the previous instances.
Preliminary budget lines (income/expenditure) must be defined.
Income from Funding Partners can only be added if Funding Partners were associated with the project using the Project Linkage object. Thus, it is advised to always have the Preliminary Budget object follow the Project Linkage object.
