Feature Release Notes

 


Overview

Camms is pleased to announce the February 2022 Feature Release for the Camms.College Learning Experience Platform (LXP).


Feature Release Introduction

This feature release is set for 02nd February 2022.

This release of the Camms.College LXP includes the following within the platform.

  1. Reporting Functionality for (Group Administrators) users

  2. Mobile UI Launch for Camms College users


Feature Release Summary

(1) Reporting Functionality for (Group Administrators) Users

This release facilitates the Group Administrators predominantly. The Group Administration is an administrative based user role within the platform where this user manages a set learners from a company in terms of the following activities,

  • View the organization’s service hours tracking information on the dashboard

  • Access the learner directory module to view/edit the profile details of users within the target group

 

 

 

The new reporting functionality for group administration users consists of 02 main substantial functionalities (stated below) to enhance the process of retrieving learner, group and other details seamlessly for group administration purposes.

Learning Progress Summary

Learning Progress Summary report provides a snapshot of all of your learner's performance results against each learning activity.

The users will have the following functionalities,

  • Create new Report - Create Custom Report allows you to select the learning activities, learner groups and date range and learning progress status using your custom report template.

  • Manage Filters - Manage filters allows you to create and manage reporting filters such as learning activities, learner groups and date ranges to save as reusable reporting filters.

 

 

Learning Progress Summary - Feature Release Outcome

The release outcome will ensure a comprehensive reporting view upon selecting the introduced filter options based on the users selection criteria.

The generated reporting outcome can then be exported to an excel spread sheet or printed to a PDF file.

Learning Progress Details

Learning Progress Details Report provides a snapshot of all of your learner's performance results against each learning activity.

(2) Mobile UI launch for Camms College users

This release simplifies the Accelerate Platform pages to be very much mobile responsive to deliver a user pleasant experience to all camms college users.

This phase was focusing upon the UI element of the mobile screens to ensure it functions as per the desktop site hands in hand.

Essentially, this responsive design is a way to put together establish the platform, so that it automatically scales its content and elements to match the screen size on which it is viewed. It keeps images from being larger than the screen width, and prevents users on mobile devices from needing to do extra work to read contents.

 

Mobile UI - Mobile UI Launch helps the user to expand the audience reach in a very short time.

Interactive Engagement - To allow users to explore the two-way immersive experience.

 


Improvements and Bug Fixes

We're releasing this functionality with main highlights and enhancements to support and aid the group administers to conduct certain role specific tasks efficiently with less time offering.

Reporting Functionality for (Group Administrators) Users

 

(1) - Learning Progress Summary

  • The “Activity Title” options has been changed to Courses, Face 2 Face and Webinars within “Select Activity Screen” accordingly to align with the overall learning categories

  • The “No of events” columns within the “Select Activity Screen” has been removed from the top navigation bar to increase the screen compatibility along with removing the “Activity Type” from the sort by drop down

  • Removed the sections (Failed, Passed & Expired) from the top navigation bar to reduce the compactness within Learning Progress Summary Report Screen

  • The “Manage Templates” and “Report Template” options was removed from the Learning Progress Summary Report for a Group Administrator access to make the changes introduced user friendly

 

(2) - Learning Progress Details

  • The “Activity Title” options has been changed to Courses, Face 2 Face and Webinars within “Select Activity Screen” accordingly to align with the overall learning categories

  • Removed the Passed and Failed from Learning Progress Status from the Select Date Range, Learning Progress Status and Learner Status Screen

  • Removed the (Employment Location, Learning Score & Expiry Date) from the top navigation bar from the Learning Progress Details Report Screen

  • The no of user information was increased (from 2500 to 15000) when generating a Learner Progress Details report

  • The “Manage Templates” and “Report Template” options from the Learning Progress Details Report screen was removed

  • Select Activity Screen - The “Activity Type” was removed from the sort by drop down along with the “No of Events” Column

  • Learning Progress Details Report Screen - Included a default list of columns to reduce the reporting loading time

Mobile UI launch for Camms College users

In our continued effort to make the Mobile responsive screen the most reliable productivity platform for all Camms College users, we've eliminated key bugs within this feature release,

Landing Page

Fixed: The Camms logo difference fixed (UI perspective)

Fixed: Landing page image displaying fully

Fixed: Login button is aligned to react based on the screen resolution

 

Login Page

Fixed: CAMMS college (green) icon added for both mobile and Desktop Versions

Fixed: User Name and Password fields Icons aligned well with text

Fixed: CAMMS college logo text added

Fixed: Removed Login button on the header for the login page

 

Forget Password Page

Fixed: All the Text and buttons should aligned to center

Fixed: The Please Note text is bold on both Mobile and Desktop

Fixed: CAMMS college logo text added

Fixed: CAMMS college (green) icon added for both mobile and Desktop Versions

 

Logout Section

Fixed: Logout section UI adjusted for both mobile and Desktop

Fixed: When clicking on the outside of the application logout section does not close. But it should close when clicking on outside (For both mobile and Desktop )

 

Notification Section (Dashboard)

Fixed: The model box *Close* button is centered and appears when clicking on Notification Title

 

Catalogue Page

Fixed: Catalogue page Search icon is centered relative to the text

Fixed: The model box *Close* button is centered and appears when clicking on resource Title

 

My Learning Page

Fixed: My Learning page Search icon is centered relative to the text

Fixed: Courses, Webinars and Face to Face tab text are aligned

 

My Learning Details Page

Fixed: Texts aligned well as per UI design

Fixed: Two lines added after Resources

Fixed: Please wait .... popup text is aligned

Fixed: For resources (Webinar and F2F) My Learning Details page UI aligned - Resources section is pushed down and the text is aligned

Fixed: For My Learning Details - xAPI courses page Course title and Resource. My Certificate header. For My Learning Details - Both webinar and Resources pages all headers are black.

Fixed: Between the xAPI course Window, Video Player and Top Navigation bar, the Z index value is changed for different devices.

 

Main Menu

Fixed: Event calendar menu is added with an icon

Fixed: When selecting all menus below to event calendar

 

Profile Page

Fixed: Marked all three fields in other details on the personal details tab

Fixed: On the Employee details tab all three fields the UI is fixed

 

Dash Board Page

Fixed: My Training Course section header and View all button is aligned

Fixed: For My Webinars and My face-to-face Training sections - buttons added

 

Main Menu Toggle Button for xAPI Course and Webinar

Fixed: After opening an xAPI course or a Resource (Video player) Main menu toggle button is now disabled

 

Profile Page

Fixed: When the user updates his profile details (For All tabs) appear validation message and UI aligned
