Camms is pleased to announce the October 2023 Release for the Camms.College Learning Experience Platform (LXP).

This release includes a number of enhancements to improve your user experience within the system. They will be available to all users on Thursday, 12th October 2023.

Feature Release

1. Real Time Updates to Service Hours

We're delighted to unveil a thoroughly modernised Service Hours module. With its revamped interface, Group Administrators can now access Service Hours utilisation details that update in real time. Here's a quick overview:

  • Donut Chart Integration: This visual enhancement showcases utilisation as a percentage of the total allocation.

  • Streamlined Service Categories: We've consolidated the categories. 'Virtual Consulting' and 'Virtual Reporting' are now unified under the singular term 'Virtual Consulting’.

Group Administrators benefit further with:

  • Detailed Utilisation Breakdown: By navigating to the “Utilised Hrs” widget (highlighted with a yellow rim) on the Dashboard, Administrators can view in-depth metrics including:

    • Date of service

    • Hours utilised

    • Consultant(s) involved

    • Task descriptions

Moreover, beneath the Consulting Hours widget, Group Administrators can utilise the following functionalities:

  • Renew My Contract: Initiating a contract renewal is easier than ever. Upon confirmation, an automatic email notification is dispatched to the Platform Administrator, who will assist you through the renewal journey.

  • Buy Additional Hours: Should the need for supplemental learning hours arise, confirm your intention to purchase more. Our Platform Administrator will promptly get in touch to streamline this acquisition.

  • Book a Consultant: For those moments when expert insights are essential, the "Book a Consultant" feature seamlessly redirects users to the Virtual Consulting page on our platform.

2. Service Hours Detail Report

We're pleased to announce the addition of the "Service Hours Detail Report" to our platform. Group Administrators can now delve into meticulous breakdowns of both allocated and utilised hours. Additionally, a custom date range can be set for this report by specifying both a start and end date via the provided filter. You'll find this report located under the freshly introduced 'Reports' tab in the left-hand navigation panel.

The report offers insights into:

  • Tier: Indicates the tier of the Camms.College subscription.

  • Start and End Date: Represents the duration within which an allocation or utilisation is established.

  • Type: Distinguishes whether the entry pertains to an allocation or utilisation.

  • Details: Categorises the nature of the allocation (be it Subscription, Top-Up, or Carry Forward).

  • Amount: Quantifies the hours attributed to the specific entry.

  • Comment: Elaborates with a task description, when available.

Accessing the Service Hours Detail Report:

  1. From the left-hand navigation panel, go to the 'Reports' section.

  2. Choose 'Service Hours Detail Report'.

  3. Click on “Create New Report”.

  4. Define your desired report range by setting the start and end dates.

  5. Proceed by clicking “Next”.

  6. Once the report is generated, you can download it in .csv format by selecting “Export as Excel” located in the top right corner.

Improvements

1. Integrated Course Assessments

We are pleased to inform you of a significant enhancement to our course module: the integration of a dedicated assessment section within our courses. This advancement allows Platform Administrators to incorporate a conclusive assessment segment at the end of each course. Crucially, the criteria for course completion and the subsequent awarding of certificates will now be contingent upon the satisfactory performance in this assessment component.

The system will adjust a user's course status according to the subsequent conditions:

  • Completed: Users will attain a "Completed" status upon successful navigation of both the course content and the associated assignment.

  • Not Completed: The "Not Completed" status will be assigned to users who either falter during the assignment or fail to fully engage with the course material.

Our goal with this enhancement is to foster a more holistic and gratifying learning journey. It ensures learners engage deeply with course material and validate their comprehension via assignments.

2. 90 Day Automated Password Expiry

To bolster the security of your user profile, we've introduced an automatic password expiry feature. Should your password remain unchanged for over 90 days, the system will prompt a reset. This initiative ensures your account remains safeguarded with a regularly updated password.

In the event your password expires, the system will guide you effortlessly through the reset process upon login. Clear step-by-step instructions ensure a quick and smooth password update experience.

Note: Users logging in via Single-Sign-On (SSO) are exempt from this enhancement.
