Report Explorer – Project Tasks by Business Unit Report

The Project Tasks by Business Unit report is designed to provide the users with the ability to extract project and task related information for a selected business unit. Note that this will allow you to generate a report that spans across multiple projects focusing on the actual tasks undertaken by each business unit. It includes the details of project tasks, task progress, predecessors as well as the start and end dates of a task.

Date Select

The date option enables you to select a specific time period and filter tasks with their start and end dates falling within the selected time period. Defaults to the current reporting period.

Projects

A tick box list of projects which allows you to select one or multiple projects from the list. You can refine the list of projects using the criteria defined in the search box.

Project Type

Dropdown filter to select a project type. ‘Show All’ is selected by default.

Project Category

Dropdown filter to select a project category. ‘Show All’ is selected by default.

Project Status

Multi- select check-box filter to select project status. (Open/Closed/Upcoming). Applicable if you have used the Close Project object in the workflows.

Project Manager

Dropdown filter to select the relevant project manager. 'Show All' is selected by default.

Business Unit

Dropdown list of all Business Units available within the organization. Allows you to select a Business Unit. Default selection is the 'Show All' option.

Project Sponsor/Owner

Dropdown filter to select the relevant project sponsor. ‘Show All’ is selected by default.

Show Projects with No Tasks

The tick box will allow user to decide if the projects with no tasks should be included or not. By default, this option is ticked.

Project Code

Displays the Project Reference number defined within Project Details area.

Project Name

Displays the Project Title defined within Project Details area.

Task

Displays the Task Name within Task Planning area.

Start Date

Displays the Start Date of the Task defined within Task Planning area.

End Date

Displays the End Date of the Task defined within Task Planning area.

Responsible Person

Displays the responsible officer and the position of the task defined within Task Planning area.

Duration

Displays the duration of the task defined within Task Planning area.

Displays the Progress % of the task defined within Task Planning area.

Status

Displays the status of the task defined within Task Planning area.

Predecessors

Displays the predecessors of the task defined within Task Planning area.

Progress

Displays the task progress (On Track/Off Track/Monitor/No Target Set).
