Please explain the Internal Audit Sign Off on recommendations - does this send out any notifications?

This Audit sign off button does NOT trigger any email or anything. This is just a button to mark completion of the recommendation/action. 

Upon clicking on this button (those who have the access to do this) - the audit will move from an active state to an inactive stage.
