Risk Profile Summary Component

1. Overview

  • This advanced Risk visualization component provides a summary of Risk profiles for the immediate child levels of a hierarchy node, enhancing your understanding of the Risk landscape.

  • Within this component, you can easily view the summaries of Revised Risk Rating criteria configured for each child-level node.

  • By enabling the visibility toggle button, you can display the selected 'Linked Active Risks' associated with the relevant hierarchy node on the Dashboard.

  • When an Administrator enables the visibility of all fields, the Risk Profile Summary Component will showcase the following information for better insights:

    • Hierarchy Node and No. of Risks

    • Effectiveness of Controls

    • Risk Action Performance

    • Risk Control Owner Ratings

    • Risk Rating Profile

    • Average Risk Rating

    • Highest Risk Rating

  • Dashboard View of Risk Profile Summary Component will be as follows:

2. Hierarchy Node and No. of Risks

The 'Hierarchy Node' column displays the name of the immediate child-level hierarchy node, while the 'No. of Risks' field shows the total number of active risks linked to each child-level node.

3. Effectiveness of Controls

  • The 'Effectiveness of Controls' section captures the EC Ratings configured within Camms.Risk, representing the distribution of these ratings in a bar chart.

  • The Y-axis of the chart represents the EC ratings, while the X-axis represents the Risk Count. The values are displayed as light blue portions.

  • The number of bars in the chart corresponds to the number of EC ratings configured in Camms.Risk.

  • If the EC Rating name exceeds the maximum word length, you can simply hover over the name to view the full-length text.

4. Risk Action Performance

  • The 'Performance' section displays the Risk Action Performances linked to the Risks of the selected hierarchy node.

  • The distribution of Action Performances is depicted in a legend view, with colors obtained from Camms.Risk.

  • The legend colors are coded according to the assigned performance rating color names for each option in Camms.Risk.

5. Risk Control Owner Ratings

  • The 'Control Owner Rating' section captures the Risk Control Owner Ratings linked to the Risks of the selected hierarchy node.

  • The distribution of Control Owner Ratings is presented in a legend view, with colours obtained from Camms.Risk.

  • The charts are colour-coded based on the control owner rating names and the assigned colours in Camms.Risk.

6. Risk Rating Profile

  • The 'Rating Profile' section showcases the Revised Risk Ratings of the linked risks.

  • The distribution of Rating Profiles is displayed in a single-row bar chart, where the portion lengths represent the Risk Rating counts. A legend is provided for a better user experience.

  • The chart shows the Risk Ratings in descending order, from the highest to the lowest, based on the Revised Risk Assessment Rating.

  • The lengths of the Risk Rating portions in the chart are adjusted according to the Risk count associated with each Risk Rating.

7. Average Risk Rating

  • The 'Average Risk Rating' section presents the average Risk Rating value, calculated by summing up the Risk Ratings of all linked Risks for a particular hierarchy node and dividing it by the number of Risks.

  • The Risk Rating ranges and labels are displayed on a ruler, with the average Risk Rating value shown as a rectangular slider.

  • The ruler values are determined based on the highest rating value from the Risk Rating ranges in Camms.Risk. They are evenly distributed according to the available Risk ratings.

  • Hovering over the slide ruler reveals the actual value.

8. Highest Risk Rating

  • The 'Highest Risk Rating' section displays the highest Risk Rating value among all the risks linked to the hierarchy node.

  • The Risk Rating ranges and labels are shown on a ruler, with the highest Risk Rating value displayed as a rectangular slider.

  • The ruler values are based on the highest rating value from the Risk Rating ranges in Camms.Risk and evenly distributed according to the available risk ratings.

  • Hovering over the slide ruler reveals the actual value.

9. Configuration of Risk Profile Summary Component

To configure the Risk Profile Summary component, follow these step-by-step instructions:

Step 1: Drag and drop the Risk Profile Summary component to the desired area on your page design.

Step 2: Click on the edit icon, which is depicted as an edit symbol, typically located near the component.

Step 3: Add a title to the component by entering the desired text in the designated Title field. This title will be displayed above the component.

Step 4: Provide a description for the component in the Description field. This description will also be displayed above the component.

Step 5: Save your changes by clicking the 'Save' button, ensuring that your title and description are successfully updated.

Note: Utilize the search bar positioned above the Hierarchy Node list to search for a specific Hierarchy Node. Enter the relevant text to filter and locate the desired node quickly.

The Hierarchy Node Configuration grid will display all immediate child level hierarchy nodes linked to the hierarchy node where the component is placed. To edit the details of a child level hierarchy node, click on the edit icon located at the right corner of the respective node's row.

Note: By default, the visibility toggle button for each hierarchy node will be disabled. To enable the visibility of Risks linked to a particular node on the Dashboard, click on the visibility toggle button, located within the same row as the node.

Tip: The Hierarchy Node column represents the title of the hierarchy node. You can modify the name of each node through the admin panel according to your preference.

To configure the fields that will be displayed on the front-end view of the Risk Profile Summary component, click on the configure icon, typically represented as a settings or gear symbol.

Step 1: In the Field Name field, specify the name(s) of the desired field(s) from Camms.Risk that you want to include in the component.

Step 2: In the Label Name field, enter the field name(s) that you want to be displayed on the front-end Dashboard. You can customize these labels according to your choice.

Step 3: Save your changes by clicking the 'Save' button, ensuring that your field configurations are saved successfully.
