Reports – Premium Action and Task Progress Report

The Premium Action and Task Progress Report is designed with extensive filtering options to create customised work plans showing overview information on action performance followed by more detailed action/task information.

This report is an advanced version of the standard action and task progress report provided with the regular installation of your system.

Benefits

  • Gauges and traffic lights for an at-a-glance snapshot of performance.

  • Editable action thresholds which determine action on track/off track and traffic light color.

The action progress in premium reports is calculated differently. For more details please refer to the Action Progress Thresholds page.

  • STEP 1: To access this report, go to Reports > Corporate Business Planning > Progress Reporting and select the 'Premium Action and Task Progress Report'.

Note: if you cannot see this report, please contact CAMMS to activate it. Charges may apply.

  • STEP 2: Select the relevant criteria and click the Preview button.

The filters available to sort the details are:

Group Data Using Planning Structure (Default: Organisation Structure)

Tick box allows the user to group the report content by the planning hierarchy.

If un-ticked report content will be grouped by the organisational hierarchy.

Date select From/ To

This option enables the user to select a specified time period. The default selection is the current system period. Actions and Tasks will only be shown in the report if they are within (have a start and/or end date within the time frame) the action.

Directorate

Select the Directorates from the drop-down list. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Business unit

Select the Business Unit from the drop-down list. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Service Profile

Select the Service Profile from the drop-down list. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Staff

Select the Staff from the drop-down list. The entire staff list will be shown in order for you to filter the report by Action responsible person. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Budget Type

Select the predefined Budget Type from the drop-down list. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Goal

Select the Goal from the drop-down list. The goals that have been created in the ‘planning’ section will be listed down. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Outcome

Select the Outcome from the drop-down list. All the outcomes that have been created for goals will be listed down. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Strategy

Select the Strategy from the drop-down list. All the strategies that have been created for outcomes will be listed down. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Action Grouping Level

Select the Grouping Level from the drop-down list. All the action grouping levels created in ‘Framework’ section will be listed down.

Select the predefined Action filters from the drop-down list. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Select the Plans from the drop-down list. All the related plans that have been defined in ‘Framework’ section will be listed down. The default selection is ‘Show All’ option.

Ticking this box enables this report to display the Tasks linked to the filtered Actions.

Ticking this box     displays the action filter names which are linked to the actions.

Ticking this box enables this report to display progress comments given for a particular action.
